As of this Summer the masjid has been under quite a bit of pressure to close down. The lease that they had was to be terminated but was renewed for a few additional months. This extension is about to end. Some of us have been trying very hard to raise money as well as find ways for the masjid to get money through donations but now it comes down to the individual efforts of all muslims.
