Valentine?s Day is soon approaching! Time flies and before you know it, ?V? Day will be upon us!
Please join Dasht on Valentine?s Day for a Muslim Professionals luncheon gathering?Mediterranean style?to relax, network and get to know one another!

This is not a matrimonial event hence it is open to all Muslim professionals regardless of whether you are single, engaged or married. Dasht will discuss the topic of love and relationships at the event. We hope to incite a healthy discussion on the subject matter and enlighten others while learning from them about this very special topic. Attendees are urged to contribute their talents during the event?be creative!?think of poetry, ballads and/or stories that you would like to share with the rest of us related to the theme of this event. Be prepared to have a great time!

This is a halal/zabihah venue, tried and tested many times in excellence with regards to food, ambience and service. Our party will occupy the entire upstairs portion of the restaurant. Please note that there will be a fixed menu for this event consisting of sodas, appetizers, main entr?e, dessert and tea/coffee. The luncheon will be served family style.

Sahara Restaurant is conveniently situated within walking distance of the New Brunswick train station. In addition, the restaurant has its own parking available at all times. Please contact the restaurant directly and in advance for precise directions.

Indicate if you will be attending (and if you plan to bring guests) by e-mailing [email protected] Please be sure that, if you have never before attended any previous Dasht events/gatherings, in your e-mail, you provide your full name and telephone number so that you can be reached in the event of last-minute emergency cancellation due to inclement weather, etc.

NOTE: No backing out last minute as it is inconsiderate to the organizers and fellow attendees. Please note that Dasht has to make all related arrangements for this special Valentine?s Day luncheon keeping the exact number of attendees in mind, hence it is very important that we get an accurate head count. As with most Dasht events, a raffle will be held for a surprise gift. In addition, for this very special event, we will be giving away some really nice gifts and party favors. Please join Dasht on January 10 for a Muslim Professionals luncheon gathering?Persian style!?to relax, network and get to know one another!

At this exciting event, Dasht will host a series of speakers from the Muslim professionals community who will discuss the concept of ethics, standards, morals and values within the broad context of the community with regards to Muslim professionals organizations based within the United States. We hope to incite a healthy discussion on the subject matter and enlighten others while learning from them as to the state of leadership within the Muslim professionals organizations in the United States with special focus on the tri-state area.

This venue is tried and tested in excellence with regards to food, atmosphere and service. Please note that there will be a fixed menu for this event consisting of SODAS, SALAD- Mediterranean, APPETIZERS (family style)- Kashk Bademjan, Sambuseh and Humus, CHOICE OF MAIN COURSE (family style)- Chicken Breast, Barg and Kobideh, Khoresh Bademjan (lamb) and DESSERT- Baklava with tea or coffee.

Event fee is $55 per attendee. You are required to pay a nominal deposit of $15 through the PayPal tab located at the bottom of this page (COMING SOON). DRESS CODE:
Semi-formal attire is required. You may wear western or ethnic attire. Please be sure to dress appropriately and in good taste. Remember, you will be in the company of other Muslim professionals like yourself and should aim to make a lasting, positive impression, so dress with style, grace and class. Dress to impress.

NUMBER OF ATTENDEES:
We aim to limit the number of attendees at this small-sized gathering to 15 women and 15 men. The organizing team will make every effort to ensure a similar number of women and men in the selection process, but this is not guaranteed. Also, please understand that Dasht does not guarantee a soulmate/potential spouse for you, as a result of the event, at any time. We believe that, ultimately, matches are made in Heaven. The best we will do is make efficient introductions, facilitate communication between the sexes, and maintain the dignity of the event.

PRE-EVENT:
Prior to the event, candidates will undergo a thorough screening process which will help the organizing team identify important demographics of Muslim professionals who are searching for their soulmates.

EVENT:
The event will include a carefully-planned, time-managed agenda which will consist of interactive games, live raffle and some very nice surprises?you must attend to find out.

You are required to bring a legal photo identification of yourself to the event.

Limited seating. First-come, first served. Register now while it is still early. RSVP no later than by Dec. 9. The longer you wait, the less likely you will be to secure a spot at this limited event, so plan ahead and RSVP soon. The organizing team reserves the right to determine candidate eligibility for this event.
