Assalamu alaikum, I am interested in taking yoga classes as a form of stretching/exercise. I recently went to a class with an instructor who was recommended to me. Unfortunately the studio has an alter with statues set up, and the classes begin with an 'invocation'. I have found this is the case with most yoga classes.
