By taking anti-depressants, can it tarnish your medical career? My friend aspires to become a doctor, but she seriously needs anti-depressants, and she refuses taking medication because she thinks that it will tarnish her medical career. Her family has taken her to a therapist and the therapist recommended that she'd take them, but it was totally up to her. As her friend, i believe she should take care of her health because if she isn't healthy, mentally, how will she manage such a job.
