Qandil tackled the issue of foreign journalists who entered Lebanon with European and American passports and went to Dbayeh then to Oyoun Alsiman and Faraya, northeast of Beirut. He said that these journalists were reportedly Israeli correspondents Ilya Youts Horg-Lisa Aistezi and Shimon Galai. "Israeli tourist groups are arranging visits and they are calling them "revenge the defeat." These groups are encouraging Israelis to tour in Lebanon since there is a Lebanese faction that can facilitate such visits", Qandil said.

The former MP further said that the scheme coincides with an agreement between Jumblatt and Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea to nominate the latter for presidency with the half-plus-one MPs formula which will lead to a great disaster in the country. He also emphasized the project to establish a US military base in Qlei'at, north of Lebanon, is proceeding in full swing.
"US Admiral William Fallon, commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East, will come to Lebanon to push forward the US military base project. What's eye catching is that the DEBKAfile internet site has said that this has become possible after Fatah al-Islam militants have been concentrated in the Nahra el-Bared refugee camp and the Lebanese army has been involved in clashes with them," the former MP added.

Qandil revealed an American intention to bring both Abdul Halim Khaddam, Syria's former vice president and Ali al-Bayanoni to the north area to lead acts of vandalism against Syria along with the arrival of Refa'at al-Assad's son to the same area. He also unveiled the third aspect of the scheme, which passed on a Hebrew Israeli sites on the Internet.
