In general in Malaysia if we compare Muslim and non-Muslim products, we noticed that Muslim products are always more expensive. But is it true for all cases? Below are some reasons for Muslim products to be more expensive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ 1) Lack of resources. Halal gelatine for exple is less available compared to gelatine from pig source. 2) Alcohol is a cheaper preservative compared to some types of halal preservatives. Alcohol is used to preserve many types of food and medicin... Read More

Reflections on the Subjects of Philosophy, Psychology and Mysticism in the Teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan by Hidayat Inayat-Khan ---------------------- Religion according to the real sense of the word is not found in the performance of rituals and ceremonies, nor in the vain recitation of doctrines. Religion is in the feeling heart, and therefore in the accomplishment of one's duty, which ultimately leads one to the purpose of one's life.

Bowl of Saki for April 4 TO GIVE SYMPATHY IS SOVEREIGNTY, TO DESIRE IT FROM OTHERS IS CAPTIVITY.--Hazrat Inayat Khan Commentary by Hazrat Samuel L. Lewis (Sufi Ahmed Murad Chisti): ISHK ALLAH. Sympathy is God Himself, there is no difference. When one gives out sympathy, one is expressing God; one has found God whether conscious of it or not. But when one desires it, one has not found it, the search is not complete. This sympathy is the very root-force of the Universe and when one comes to the heart ... Read More

posted this in my own journal, but thought I'd share here as well... Since Love has made ruins of my heart The sun must come and illumine them. Such generosity has broken me with shame: The King prayed for me, and granted me His prayer: How many times, just to calm me, did He show His face? I said, "I saw His Face," but it was only a veil. He charred a universe through the flaming-out of this veil. O my God! How could such a King ever be unveiled? Love reared in front of me, and I followed Him. He tu... Read More

Ruling on celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Praise be to Allaah the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and all his family and companions. The commands mentioned in the Qur?aan and Sunnah to follow the laws of Allaah and His Messenger, and the prohibitions on introducing innovations into the religion are quite clear. GLASS OF MILK One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?" "You don't owe me anything," she re... Read More

Bowl of Saki for April 3 LIFE IS A MISERY FOR THE MAN ABSORBED IN HIMSELF.--Hazrat Inayat Khan Commentary by Hazrat Samuel L.
