By Johnny Merheb ?Let it be known that only God can judge us? Mr Jumblat, I always try to understand your so-called policies but I can?t. I don?t think you?ll ever have a ?Political Programme? because you?re like the weather in Australia, four seasons in one day. I always try to be rational and try to give you excuses for your horrific actions, but this time I couldn?t step aside and watch you alienate a big portion of the Lebanese population: The Resistance. When are you going to learn not to tamper w... Read More

Dear village members, I read the article submitted earlier by saranakli. While I don't agree with many of the viewpoints in the article, they all sound familiar to me. I come from a syed family and grew up hearing that I could only marry a syed ( marryng a non-syed was haraam). As I grew older, I began to doubt and question many of these beliefs and have worked through many of them by learning more about them. I think this is an issue that has been hard for syed women to deal with and is not addressed enough... Read More

Messages to Spies Are Coded but Not Hidden Over Shortwave, Anyone Can Listen By James Gordon Meek New York Daily News Friday, December 29, 2006; Page A25 It turns out that anybody can tune in to the world's top spy agencies talking to operatives. All you need is a cheap shortwave-radio receiver, the kind available at any drugstore. Tune it to 6855 or 8010 kHz. On the hour, you might hear a girlish voice repeating strings of numbers monotonously in Spanish. "Nueve, uno, nueve, tres, cinco-cinco, cu... Read More

So the regular season is over and its time for some coaches to go packing. Jim Mora and Green are already gone. The comments made by Mora on UW job were just killers. I think Jon Gruden must go.. he has ran Tampa bay into ground. Either let him go or give him enough power. Raiders coach is also stuck in 60s Offensive philosphy and I think he should be fired as well. Not impressed by Tom at Giants as well.. he was an average coach at Jax and nothing more at Giants will all that offensive talent around him ( Gian... Read More

I was surprised recently to learn that Naseeb is blocked in certain Muslim countries, while other interaction sites are not. Why is that? Could it be that they find Naseeb more harmful than those other sites for some reason? To that end, I wanted to find out what people thought about the following questions: - Do you think that Naseeb is doing more harm than good? - Have you learned anything beneficial during your time on Naseeb? - Has your time on Naseeb altered your impression of Muslims or any subset ...
