Although not all but most of the good movies of yore are based on great novels. I usually read the book before I watch the movie. Sometimes its a great experience and sometimes not so well. What do you guys think, book before the movie, movie before the book, or skip the whole book thing and jump directly to the reel.

We are volunteering to start an urdu program on a local radio. Am looking for contents to help improve the broadcasting. Something along the lines of 1- good things about Pakistan(everyone knows bad things). 2- Some good urdu adab phrases and poetry. 3- some articles for the goodness n greatness of our watan and its languages etc etc.? any website links, etc etc will be much appreciated.. urgent help required.........

Thanks for ya'll response to my Black Man's picture ( my nickname for the picture on my last journal). So I decided to do a follow up to show off my second child- Miss Katrina. A victim from the hurricane that hit down here on the 3rd coast, I found here at the local ASPCA. ok...we're goign to play the word game...but pushto style...(u all know how to play the word game right?) so when u see the last word posted, type the first word that comes to ur mind...and so on adn so forth...try to type ur words in pashto...(put in the english version beside it, if u like)....and if u dont know how to say it in pashto, just ask, itll help us to learn! :D

I was reviewing ocular trauma in Wills Eye Manual this morning and after reading about intraocular foreign bodies was curious, why are food and drinks restricted? and for how long? This is the only piece of literature I have come across that mentions no food/drink as part of treatment. Ahlah ya Brothers/Sisters I personally would like to have all Yemenis professionals network with other yemenis and build rapport with each other in a way that reflects other ethnic groups and countryman. In being candid, I only have a few preferred professional yemeni friends and I would like to add to that. Sky is the limit for us inshallah and we need to grab the bull by the horns and continue to build the creditability of all yemenis in this country.

Salaam everyone. I wanted to know if anyone was interested in tickets to the Bears / Giants game at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. I had originally go the tickets to go with a friend but with scheduling conflicts it may not work out. The seats are on section 325 and the game time has changed from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for prime-time (best two teams in the NFC). Thank you.
