I can't remember the film Citizen Kane completely. What I do remember is my father talking about it and I would probably agree it was of what I remember a very good movie.

I love these movies. Despite being so many cliche's, I just love the pure rustic feeling to the ones that I have watched. The most famous one being "The good, the bad and the ugly", but in that trilogy, A fist full of dollars and For a few dollars more are also great.

Whenever I watch The good the bad and the ugly, I always think about how Clint Eastwood has come from being a cliche cowboy to a great actor, to being a great director.

Cindrella: Yeah, me neither, but I was watching a discovery or some other channel and they showed the whole history of these movies. Pretty cool.

I haven't watched many westerns but those three stand out. I watched "Unforgiven" a while back and that was good.

Which Did you think was better the Original Don starring Amitab Bacchan or the Don that was released recently starring Sharukh Khan?

How would you rate Sharukhs performance compared to Big B., which film had a better story line, cinamatography... locations... etc...

I agree Cinderalla with you. I love the twist at the end..

Gillbhai, I saw the new DON and it was pretty good actually. Kareena was good but nothing compared to Helen. SK was good but nothing compared to the Big B. Overall the story line was changed a little... I was say I liked the story of the new Don better!

Although not all but most of the good movies of yore are based on great novels. I usually read the book before I watch the movie. Sometimes its a great experience and sometimes not so well. What do you guys think, book before the movie, movie before the book, or skip the whole book thing and jump directly to the reel.

I agree with you Gillbhai... Firm was a awsome film... but book was 100% times better!

Yeah, they messed that one up.

Totally agree with the Davinci Code. I watched the movie and after I came out it was kind of disappointing. Another movie that did that to me was The Firm. The movie, although good, was not as descriptive as the book.

Just finished "To Kill a Mocking Bird". What a performance by Gregory Peck. Absolutely incredible movie.

Just watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Great movie, its ironic that the storyline from that movie could still be applicable today.
