'They say never work with animals or children. But that was until they came across the Compubeaver ? a computer literally stuffed full of technology.
This stunning dead beaver and working high-spec computer combination took three months to build and shows the realms of possibilities when the worlds of taxidermy and IT collided.
Artist and Compubeaver creator Kasey McMahon, 34, from Los Angeles, explained: 'I started thinking about the most ridiculous thing to put a computer in to and decided it had to be a beaver.
'It looks at how nature relates to technology,' she said.
She bought the beaver ready-stuffed, before cutting out the foam insides with an electric kitchen knife.
Once she had cut space for the computer tower, she reinforced it with fibreglass.
And, it doesn't smell, she added.
Meanwhile, biologist Christy Canida and environmental studies graduate Noah Weinsrein have taken the idea of a computer 'mouse' a little too far.
Both contribute to the Instructables website ? which describes how to make similarly odd creations ? and made the mouse using the skin of a real rodent from a US pet shop;.

'ALLENTOWN, Pa. ? A couple who grew apart and had agreed to split up were reunited by a life-threatening crisis.
After more than 10 years of marriage, Chip and Cindy Altemos agreed about 5 years ago to separate, see other people, and begin divorce proceedings. But when 48-year-old Chip was hospitalized with kidney failure in September, Cindy, 49, offered him one of hers.
The two, of South Whitehall Township, agreed to separate because of ?all the woes and troubles? they brought from previous marriages.
But Cindy Altemos, on the verge of being Chip?s ex-wife, said this week: ?He was still my husband.?
'The right thing to do'
As a former phlebotomist who had worked with renal patients, Cindy Altemos said she knew ?exactly what he was up against,? and had long thought he would eventually need a transplant because he had had juvenile diabetes. When they married she had promised to be a donor.
?There was no way I could walk around with two kidneys and he had none,? she said. ?It was the right thing to do.?
The transplant took place Feb. 21.
Chip Altemos said his wife?s gesture put an end to his new relationship and to talk of divorce. The two will be married 17 years in October.'

Only in the second women's flying cadets batch, a woman has claimed the Sword of honor. As an old graduate, I really think this is a great accomplishment. It may not be long before someone claims the BPT (Best Pilot Trophy). Kudos to her for winning this trophy.
ISLAMABAD: The coveted Sword of Honour for best all-round performance was claimed by Aviation Cadet Saira Amin, who made history by being the first woman pilot to have won the Sword of Honour in any defence academy of Pakistan.
The passing out parade of the 117th GD (P) course, which includes the second batch of three women pilots, was held at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy, Risalpur Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed, PAF chief of air staff, was the chief guest. The trophy for best performance in general service training and the Chief of Air Staff Trophy for best performance in flying were lifted by Aviation Cadet Squadron Under Officer Nadir Ali. The Asghar Hussain Trophy for best performance in academics was achieved by Aviation Cadet Saira Amin. Squadron No 3 received the Quaid-e-Azam Banner for being the champion squadron. pr

LOL, yeah it did, and instead there stood the face of the Pakistani President instead of the first female pilot of the Pakistan Air Force. Anyways, Sair Amin is the first pilot to graduate from the PFT (Primary Flight Training) and BFT (Basic Flight Training) both highly competitive and extremely tough schools in the Airforce academy in Pakistan (I should know, I passed through them ages ago). But this girl took it to the next level and took home the Best Flying Trophy amongst the 30 odd pilots, so congrats to her for the accomplishment. :D
