has added a new journalThe 2007 General Elections is fast approaching, and from all indications it could be the absolute determinant between the unity of the Country and otherwise.
Well, this piece is just to beg all muslim brothers from around West Africa and beyond to contribute their own quota towards the actualisation of this beautifull dream of peacefull transition from one civilian administration to another.PLEASE LETS PRAY!!

Thanks Umar for this message of peace.Nearly on a daily basis, I discuss the Nigerian situation with people and it even makes me more scared. Nigeria is probably going to experience more death this year than ever.
Indeed, we need all prayers and efforts to survice this year. May Allah save us form greedy people who lacks any sincerity or vision for the nation. It's a shame, we are cursed with lack of statemen.

has added a new journalThere is a simple saying/proverb in West Africa:
"When two Brothers fight, Strangers always reap the harvest"
Why are there conflicts all over the world, particularly amongst people of the same origin or background or from the same country?
- Hamas & Fattah in Palestine.
- Lebanese in-fighting
- Sunni & Shia in Iraq
Now the most terrifying are the in-fightings in Serria Leone, Ivory Coast, Somalia etc. Most of these over political control.
I have just seen the film "Blood Diamond" and it brings home these senseless crisis and makes the above proverbs reviberatingly true and real.
What do you think?
