has added a new journalSee video regarding torture of Haseeb, someone who was in a mental institution bc of simply a learning disability, but was beaten by a caretaker and is now paralyzed. They say they cannot take action against the institution b/c it is state sponsored and is has 'sovereignity'. According to Jeanine the prosecuter in this video, it seems to suggest we should appeal to Gov Rick Perry, to assist this family, and allow the legislature to waive immunity and give them the right to sue, and take Haseeb out of the mental institution where he was tortured and financially support them.

What are some of the things to do in Austin, TX??

there's a spot off the 360 bridge going back towards teh city where u can pull off the road, walk a small, um, makeshift :) trail and sit on a ledge and watch the city and cars and lake in the distance.mansfield dam and the lake is beautiful at night (especially if you have a sail boat! omgomgomg).
you havn'et expereinced "muslim" austin until you've prayed fajr on top of the highest stone picnic table on mount bonnell and watched the birds wizz by you as dawn breaks and the wind appears.

Most of you know the rest of the story: the Greeks devised a wooden horse, hid soldiers inside, and graciously appeared to give it to the Trojans. They didnt brag, they didnt talk smack, they simply went in unannounced. Once inside the gates, they began their fight and took over the place.
Southern Cals reign over college football had lasted for 34 straight victories. Networks and news media were poised to anoint the Trojans of 2005 as the greatest team in the history of the college game.
And so it was that Texas came to Los Angeles on December 28, and now, the Longhorns were aboard buses riding right into the gates of the city.
