I lived in the cafe, and the grad lounge, so too many memories ... was kinda awkward deciding whose table to settle down at. um, I remember the WWF people gathering there in numbers ... and Sharmeen would watch her soaps on the big screen (hi Sharmeen) ... the coffee and bagels were pretty good huh? I always needed 2 cream cheese packets with my bagels ... man did the food suck ... we actually ate there - man we were desperate!!! Bands would play on thursdays at 7pm, right? has added a new journalI spent my first few semesters in Knowlton in Northeast. But it didn't have any single rooms and my roommate was an art major. She was in bed every night at 9pm and would wake up to the sound of my mechanical pencil clicking. Needless to say, we didn't really get along. But the dorm itself was really nice. There were a lot of Asian people. Wish I gave it a second chance before running away to Sylvan where I got my single room so I could work as late as I wanted.
Anyone else live in Northeast? Mind sharing your memories?

I just had a memory of the time I accidentally slept late and had to run to my morning class in my PJ's to submit a homework set I had been working all night on. I think it was a Physics problem set...

has added a new journalI spent my last few semesters in McNamara Hall in Sylvan, aka the projects. My room faced the courtyard from which I could see what was going on outside and the people passing by. I was able to park my car in the nearby purple lot. That was key since I hated going all the way down to yellow lot near the stadium.
I had friends in the neighboring hall. For the life of me I can't remember what that hall was called but I visited often because my sister and some of my friends were there. Those were some good times...

has added a new journalI have been admitted to the PhD at the Center for International Education for the term starting in September. I have had problems securing funding and my supervisor has advised me to try and secure some work at maybe another department other than my own. In addition, the problem is that I am already working some hours in the assistantship granted by the Center. Can anyone help with advice and suggestions?
