has added a new journalI am not Turkish, have only been to Turkey once and loved it. I am also interested in following currents in Turkish politics and culture. I'd like to get a read on people's thoughts regarding recent events in Turkey with the Presidential candidate withdrawing, changes to the constitution and the army's threat to potentially overthrow the democratically elected government.
Personally i don't understand how the secular parties can do what they're doing and still claim to be in favor of democracy.
