I think the beauty of swat gets pushed back becasue getting there is like the most life risking ride of your life. I wonder if they are doing anything to improve the roads.

has added a new journalHey folks, well I just landed in karachi and I'm loving the rich oders and toxic air... I'll be here for a little and then I'm off to Swat for a long deserved trip there. I havent seen swat in over 14 years. I hear much has changed and am looking very forward to it.
On a side note.. I have to get used to how everyone here wants there palms greased for doing what there supposed to be doing. Its horrible, I cant take a .... (delete, delete).. I cant do anything here without whipping out a 100 rupee note to make things happen.
Ah well.. guess when in rome... act like a greek :-)
