has added a new journalSalam All, relatively knew to bay area , orignaly from lahore. Being a Pakistani , i have a passion for food and cricket.I have been to many bay area desi resturants except Mirchi. So far the best i can say food wise is Tikka Masala in San Francisco.Is this Mirchi owned by the same people who owned it in Lahore as that on is fantastic.

Not sure but you can ask them - 510-623-8500, Lisa Ahmed is the owner.The thing about Mirchi is that they have "halal" versions of food such as strawberry daquiries, lasagna etc.
It is a fusion of Italian and desi food. Lisa's family used to own Lucia's - also a long term tradition in the Fremont area

If I have to be really picky, I would say the starter bread was not HOT Enough, I'm kind of spoiled by eating at Freddy's. Zouk's chips and garlic bread arent that bad too.The other thing would be that there's only one TV screen and if your back is facing it, wihch usually means 33% percent would be facing that way, is kind of not that cool. So two Tvs and with relatively recently matches, if not live would be great.

I would play something besides old cricket matches on the tv....that get's pretty old fast!i like the steak! and the wings!
the spaghetti and meatballs dish needs more than 2 meatballs!
nice decorations and interior decor.
