has added a new journalso what LIRR train line do you use to get to the city? do you have to transfer?
I'm on the Oyster Bay line - and I HATE transferring at Jamaica! there's only one train, the 6:16PM, that goes directly from Penn - i can take a nice 45 min nap without being interrupted :)

I rode on the Ronkonkoma line for 2 years now that i drive in i dont miss the following...- missing my morning train by 10 seconds and having to wait 30 mins for the next one
- paying more for my ticket every six months
- searching for my Ticket, when the ugly hat wearing conductors stroll on by
- train door malfunctions causing me to be late on those days that i actually managed to catch the train
- seeing teenagers sneaking into the bathroom for 30 mins just so they dont have to pay
- hearing babies screeching and crying the whole way home...
I could keep going....but i'll spare you guys =)

I'm too scraced to miss my stop so I never nap. Do you know they have a train that serves alcohol? I got on it somehow and it was crazy. Everyone was standing the whole time and they all knew each other so it was like one big party.November 12, 2005 at 11:39am
