Zero tolerance approach
Super-strict Headteacher is Caroline Haynes.
She's the woman who could be Britain's strictest Head Teacher. She has boosted exam pass rates by 60 % after suspending 478 of her 1,880 pupils in a year.
Caroline Haynes, 49, adopted a zero tolerance approach to bad behaviour.
Any pupil who swears at a teacher is sent home for five days and anyone who disrupts a class twice in one day is suspended for a day.
Her policies have seen the GCSE pass rate rise from 48% in 2004 to 74% this year.
Mrs Haynes, of Tendring Technology College, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, dislikes the government policy of trying to cut exclusions.
She said: 'A lax policy on discipline will result in increased bad behaviour. Pupils come to school to learn. We will not tolerate anything that disrupts the learning process.'

Discipline is sadly lacking both at home and at school, so how can we expect responsible adults if we don't prepare the groundwork and set the necessary rules? Ms Haynes is simply doing her job - educating the young people at her school.
