Would like to know...
Salams everyone!
I'm new here and honestly I've always wanted to bridge the gap b/w pakis and non-pakis (esp Arabs). I don't know if it's just me but why do i get the feeling sometimes that some pakistanis hate arabs...or perhaps have a certain stereotype about them that prevents them from totally connecting.
I know how in some middle eastern countries south asians are treated horribly and with disrespect (ie Emirates, Saudi etc) and because of that ill treatment most pakistanis and other south asians hold a grudge against all Arabs. Is that one of the reasons for the gap or am i missing something? I would love to know anyone's feelings on this. All my friends in school were desi and honestly I love em more than the Arabs at my school..for various reasons of course. But really what's the deal with all the tension i feel sometimes??
concerned...

I think its not only between Arabs and Desis, this problem exist among all the Muslims.
That is the main reason we are divided. Forget about Arabs and Pakis, people from Karachi have problems with Punjabis as well.
Its a good thought, and i hope people do respond :)
