Not long ago We celebrated Women International Day...Worldswide a significant number of events took place to celebrate Women contributions in our society.

We are so much more special and important than
the world makes us feel. Muslim Women live in every country in the world.

They face every imaginable dilemma and challenge.
We see:

~ The fortitude and gentleness of the Asian, South Asian and Indonesian Women...

~ The courageous Arabic & African Women ? from North, East, West & South of their region.

~ The patience and steadfastness of the Palestinian Women.

~ The dedication and strength of Women in the Chinese and Russian states.

~The staying power of Muslim Women in Western countries: Europe, Australia, Canada, UK & USA...

We see Women

- who make Allah the Almighty the center of life;
- who struggle to keep balance, harmony, peace and love in the family unit;
- who strive to educate themselves and fulfill their individual potential;
- who bend in gentleness to the small and weak, while speaking out bravely in the faces of the powerful world.

It is very often Women and Children who bear the brunt of the effects of war, regional conflicts, earthquakes, famine, drought and the endless disasters that encompass the world.

***Women are often the ones who keep the family cell intact and the Community hopeful.

All the elements that constitute the inner working life can be found in a Woman: the keys to insight, creativity, giving, feeling, sharing and reaching.

It's all about her capacity to give life, love, help, give, forgive and to keep striving, no matter what surrounds her to struggle and to fulfill her potential as an Individual.

First and foremost, a Woman is a servant of Allah the Almighty. In that alone, she is valued and revered even if the world or some Muslim countries fail to fully recognize Her status and Place. She has intrinsic value in a world that sometimes puts obstacles after obstacles in her Way.
