The Prophet (may Allah's peace & blessings be upon him, his family and compaions) said: 'Whenever a Muslim asks Allah (swt) for anything, Allah (swt) will either grant his prayer or protect him from some harm, as long as he does not pray for something sinful or for something that would cut off family ties.'
