What does this shairi mean??

Mujhe deke mae mere saaqiyaa merii tashnagii ko havaa na de;
Meri pyaas par bhii to kar nazar mujhe maikashii kii sazaa na de.
Main baade mukhaalif ki zad mein,Udhne ke hunar se vaaqif hoon.
Zakhmi hai badan, Toote hain par, Dheemi hi sahi....... Parvaaz to hai.

I am from Lucknow people and it's bugging me that I really don't get this shair. Can someone plzz help me out?

In my opinion, the shayer is saying that by giving a little mae, his thrist increases bc instead of satisfying him, the urge to have more is greater. Ofcourse, mae means something that intoxicate u and take u to a make believe world and probaby he is referring to mehboob' s meeting which is surely intoxicating for him. He is also saying that please don't send me to maikashey, becuase i will definitely over indulge myself considering the degree of tashnagii that i have. It would be really a punishment bc i wouldn't be able to handle my slef.
