How about Saturday September 8th, the week before Ramadan starts? Anyone is in.

I'll be in Chi-town so Dearborn is a drivable distance, right?
You guys let me know... If nothing is going on in Dearborn, I'll fly to NYC instead...

go to facebook.com, sign up for an account (it's free :) ) and join the "Facebook is the New Naseeb" group. You can then start adding people as friends from there, and generally participate in various conversations.

We probably need to start a Dabkeh group on facebook. :)

Dudes, NYC/Boston is only 4-5 hrs (I know someone who does it in 3, but I wouldn't want you driving that fast). The bus only takes 4.5 hrs, the train less than 4.

Dearborn/Miami is several days (pretty much opposite ends of the continent). I don't know exactly about Dearborn/NYC or Dearborn/Boston, but I've never heard of anyone driving it. I know the flight is a couple of hours, so may not really be drivable.

Dearborn/NYC is almost 10-12 hours
NYC/Boston is almost 6-8 hours

Dearborn/Miami

I just know Boston/NYC is about 8 hours.
And I drove once from Chicago to Boston, and I think it took me ONE day or so :P

Lina-: I think that would be really awesome: 2 days in Dearborn and then off to the East coast all travelling together like students hehe :P I love the idea

I can't completely commit to Dearborn yet, but don't wait for me. Let me know what weekend you decide on and I'll join you if I can.

I should be available in Boston most of the time, and can probably make it to NY pretty easily.

Aouicha: the only dates that DO NOT work for me are:

1-Month of September
2-Any First week of any months

Everything else works fine. Have you ever been to the US, do you have a preference of a city you'd like to meet up at?

Lina: any place is good I think, if it's Dearborn and that Aouicha and I are just in the US for 2 weeks, we'll do 2 days in Dearborn, and then decide of a place on the East Coast. So if everyone else agrees for Dearborn in October, why not?
We would meet up there and then drive to one of the East coast destinations.

OR we can meet to one of these east coast destinations. We are pretty flexible I think :)
