We don't need to give up who we are, but reminding ourselves of the Islamic principle of "There is no compulsion in religion" and a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), "Honest difference in opinion is Rahmah(Mercy)", we ought to recognize the diversity which has historically existed among Muslims.

We, however, need to shun behaviors and activities of individuals and groups who are violating the basic principles of inclusion and tolerance in Islam by imposing their views on others.
