The Eagle has landed was actually a novel by Robert Ludlum in the 70's and was adopted to a movie. Michael Caine was kind of acting in all kinds of spy movies back then, especially novels by Len Deighton.

Good Choice of films... I still havent seen Get Carter and The eagle has landed... they will be next on my list :)

Sholay, Lawaris, Sharabi (you guys see the theme here) pretty much all the late 70's and early 80's movies from the big guy.
