Volenteer
So i am going to Quetta in Jan. inshAllah.
first visit Gandma and then volunteer work
for some months .
Im gonna work for RAWA,they have Orphanages
in Quetta, peshawar and some other places.
And then later am i gonna work for a org. called
AWM. trying to educate the women and kids.
Somehow i cant wait, finally i can go and do something
instead of sitt here and talk big ;)

As for Rawa, (they are quite popular here in the bayarea, CA) i agree with baby J....they are doing some great work but they are also secular and really bash the veil. I totally understand where they are coming from but at the same time there is not success in anything untill you establish Islam as a way of life first. The main thing to keep in mind while doing what you are is purely for the sake of allah and be very carefull not to get sucked into their idealogy.

My mother is from Peshawar but I haven't had the chance to go there yet. Inshallah I plan on going in March, so maybe I can get some info from you about volunteering.......I would love to do my part.

I have heard nothing good abt RAWA, but I must admit that I never did any thorough research on this organization.
