This is my exit notice from this village
Beloved One,
It has been almost one year since I started posting "The Bowl of Saki" from Hazrat Inayat Khan with the commentaries from Murshid Sam.
I have also shared some commentaries from my friend Hidayat Inayat Khan. I just spent last week in Virginia at a retreat of the Federation of the Sufi Message (many branches of Hazrat Inayat Khan lineage) trying to harmonize and get to know each other (Sufi Order, Sufi Movement, Sufi Ruhaniat, Sufi Contacts, Sufi Ways, Fraternity of Light). Hidayat will be 90 years old next month. Still very sharp of mind, with great common sense et quite active, traveling and lecturing around the world. I will be with him next month in Germany.
So I hope you enjoyed a taste of what this lineage has to offer. Hazrat Inayat Khan stated that Sufism is the religion of the heart, based on love, harmony and beauty. Al Ghazzali told us "Sufism is based on experience, not premises."
There is very little activity in this village and may be it is a good time for me to withdraw my serving it by all those daily postings and let other people express their point of view and have a voice.
I have enjoyed personal feedback through emails and exchanging private correspondance. This path is first a path of friendship and friends do encourage each other towards the unfoldment of qualities of heart that are ever present in each one of us, but may lie dormant under many veils.
So I will pray that all of you, in the lamp of your heart, will discover the light, light upon light, fed by the olive tree, that is not of the orient nor the occident, not of the east nor of the west. This is the first principle of Islam, tawhid, the innate knowledge present in each heart of the oneness of God, la illaha ilallah.
The fact that we may have forgotten does not give the right to anyone else to step in, pretending to give something that is already everyone's birthright. (so here I am not very kind to the clerics of all sort, be it priests, mullahs or ministers that too often have use their self-ritgheous knowledge for power and control, too many wars were and are fought today in the name of God or Allah or Dieu or whatever).
So let's remember, this is the Zikar (Dhikr), it belongs to everyone, this is what the prophecy was for, to help remember what is already known in our heart. La illaha ilallah.
A Sufi saint repeated only ilallah, ilallah, ilallah (only God is) breath in and out. He was asked why. He said "I do not want to died on the la illaha (nothing exist or there is no god), so I only repeat ilallah.
This is a revolution of sort, the point of vue of tolerance to all, the ideal of spiritual liberty, the respect for the universality of the religious ideal and of all prophets. This is also a path of empowerment, that each individual in relinquishing identification to the limited self (or ego) can come to the realisation of the oneness of the universe and develop the certitude of the knowledge that comes only from the experience of the presence of Allah as a reality in every breath of one's life.
HIK said it does not matter if I am on the mountain, in the temple, in the church, in the mosque or in the desert, everywhere, I only see the face of my beloved. In the Holy Koran is stated: Everywhere I turn is but the face of Allah.

May His Peace abide with you
May His Presence illuminate your heart
