the pillars of the earth
So I'm reading Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth" and at first I was not too into it, (like you, khoy) but I kept reading and it is really good!
I totally recommend it. It is set in medieval england and is the story of a monk forced to build a cathedral. It has death, murder, arson, love (not sappy love yet)...
just read past the first 20 pgs and you'll be hooked.
