the community in Riverside?


Salaamz. So as I finish up my fellowship training in LA, I'm job hunting in S Ca. I have a potential opportunity in Riverside. I know it's not OC, but whaddya'll know about the Muslim community in Riverside? I bet everyone comes to OC to socialize. Anything good in or about Riverside ?

thanx for ur response RNT. i'm asking around to everyone, esp since i heard it wasn't a desirable place to live. i hear the muslim community in riverside is mostly arab? they had something held by the UCR MSA today and i'm bummed that i couldn't make it. tell me more people...

Inland Empire is not an exciting place. Heck it hardly feels like California. But in the last decade, Riverside has grown tremendously with housing market giving OC a run for its money.

If you decide to go there, it would not be a bad choice. It is not that far from LA, OC, and SD. Muzlim community has grown too. There are 2 big masjids, one in Riverside, one in San Berdu. Lots of muslims at area hospitals and in universities.
