The streets of Ankara were filled with tens of thousands of people who expressed satisfaction and pride with the victory of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, against the Israeli army that has been described as invincible. The demonstrators held banners of solidarity and support to the Lebanese right to resist the occupation and speeches called on the Turkish government to refrain from sending troops to Lebanon as part of international forces. Speakers underlined the vagueness of the objective and mission of these forces amid Israeli-American efforts to secure the border of the Israeli entity, through the international forces and therefore achieve what Israel failed to achieve in Lebanon through 33 days of open war.
