here is another one from the land of pure
stand outside at stroke of mid-night with a looking glass (mirror) in your hand, when there is a FULL MOON.......

Just make sure there is no tree near by and your hair is NOT wet - else you will be HOMO-JINN-IZED (sorry Insp had to borrow that one - how much do i owe in royalties)

does anyone believe in standing under a tree with wet LONG hair will attract the attentions of a Jinn who may then possess you
till now the belief was restricted to girls only - but with changing times we may have Homo Jinns attracted to pretty boys with long hair under a tree too :P:P:P
Not only desi ,i think many men prefer women with long hairs. :)
I once asked my dad if he ever met my mom before wedding. Never. He said he only knew two things about her and that was enough: one that she is a good cook and 2 she has long hair...heheheh
Man, in college, this same friend who told us the Jinn story, would also tell us plenty of witch and ghost stories too. One night, we got so scared, my 2 other friends and me all had to sleep together.
But I've also heard stories of Jinns falling in love with humans but wondered if that could really happen.
A friend once told me a story of a Jinn falling in love with her grandmother or someone but he never caused her any harm but would come by to play with her hair.
I was told to never walk under a tree at night with my hair down. Jinns live there at night and get attracted to long hair :)
I tried it a couple of times and I've been fine, Alhumdulillah...so either there were no jinns in those area or they must not have been mesmerized by my lovely long hair :P
However, I do believe in Jinns but it was just weird hearing about not walking under trees at night.
