Usmle World vs Kaplan? what woudl you recommend..I've always used Kaplan so far but USMLE world is a good bit cheaper. Thanks!

for what its worth i think it'll probably depend on what your residency is in since step III is more geared towards primary care stuff. Most folks in medicine or fp probably don't need a huge amount of lead time, maybe a couple of months. A friend of mine doing path took it twice, but he killed the second time round - so alls well that ends well.

i just took step3 recently and used *crush the boards* and *usmleworld* for one month. i did REALLY WELL.

I'm using world, secrets, and first aid for step II right now (taking it next month), I like world a lot more then kaplan, b/c it's harder.
I'm going to try and knock out step III by May as well, and I'm sticking with world.
