Skardu Girl


I found this girl just outside the Skardu area, and as soon as I positioned my camera to take her pic, she froze, I took a good 5 pics and in all of the pics, she just stood frozen, either she was taken aback by the sudden photography session, or she was actually posing. Either way, it came out good for me. Baltis (Residents of Skardu) are known for their hospitality and their friendliness with the tourists. Thanks for visiting.

Thanks Amnach for your nice comment. For this particular shot I used a Nikon D70. But I guess a conventional one would have bene just as fine.

I agree with Franky after taking a look at your link I would encourage you to enter photo comp and and exhibition. I am have seen many an exhibition here in London for a fraction of the quality. Best of luck
