To my surprise I think there were equal number of men and women. I came in couple of hours late but ppl were still around. Most of the crowd was young. I heard that earlier in the event, profile shots were taken for each participant and nametag with a number i.d was given as well. After the event, the moderator collected slips, which had the i.d number of the person whom you were interested in. The interested parties were called out by their i.ds and were given an envelope which contained the name of the person who were interested in them.

Overall, the event was well organized.

LOL already sounds like a well organized event. Management is not a forte of desis in general and muzlims in particular.
