YWAT is a contributor to the forthcoming anthology, Shout Out: Women of Color Respond to Violence (Seal Press, Jan 2008). This is a powerful collection by a diverse group of women. It addresses issues of violence on a global level. The YWAT has contributed a poem to this collection. Come hear us read our work and please come share your own words too. Bring an original piece or a favorite poem to share. This even is open to the public and we encourage the participation of young women. Light refreshments will be offered.
