Nehocrs.....Sorry you missed it ! Inshallah next time. Zakir is coming in December. He played 2nd fiddle to Shivji in this one, but everytime he played he stole the show. I can't even imagine his own show.The guy is as cute as a button, but when he plays you heart stops 'cause it can't keep up.

I am sorry I missed it... this flu-like thing kept me at home.

Definitely a must see duo......Superbly played santur.
Shivkumarji is a definite must see! Together with Zakir they just take you to heaven. The Raagas played were sensational and the Tabla just blows your mind.

Fuad...I just got home ....I will n-mail you tomorrow... I didn't plan anything yet ...I did book though. Surprisingly, they still had good seats..... (yawn) ...I will catch ya later Gnite.

Me neither.....that is why I put it up......I find classical music events are like rare gems, which I always miss. I know corporate types get tickets to these things all the time. Your comment was encouraging and I will try to keep us both posted. I have missed Ravishankar twice, both times in Carnegie. I live here for the arts and ofcourse the Fodder! See you around!
