I'm currently reading Shantaram. My copy of the book is starting to resemble some kind of origami work of art as I fold every other page (the top corners and the bottom corners) to mark the points where something has affected me deeply, made me think or struck a chord in some way.

I think it's an incredible story, a story that could not have been written if it wasn't lived. There is such insight that only personal experience and reflection can bring about.

I thank the friend who bought me this book on a whim, telling me I'd love it as he did, he was absolutely right!
