I am wondering if there are any artists who would like to establish a "salon" or critique group where Muslim artists can meet, present and discuss ideas and art work in a safe and non-threatening environment.

I too have been displaying my stuff in local galeries, and some of my metal art is outdoors - like a burn-barrell I carved for BM '05 with the dua of Sulaiman (AS) on it: Rabbi Zidni Ilma - in arabi. It is presently located within the bowels of The Vulcan in Oakland.

I'm pointing this comment towards my friend Serene4Ever, who's been telling me about a Muslim Artist exhibition event that's being planned by some Fremont org in July. S4E yaar, can you please comment and give us some info about this? (Or would you like me to post the info you sent me?-)
