Folio3 is looking for a mid to senior level engineer to fill the following
position in Karachi, Pakistan.

Engineering Director

The candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, execution and
success of development projects and will work with customers, software
engineers, product managers, and QA. This is a technical, hands-on
engineering management position.

- Help manage and make contributions to development process, coding
practices, design/code reviews

- Work with Product Management on requirements, priorities and timelines

- Work with Project Management to map employee skill set and interests to
business deliverables

- Work with QA to help ensure maximum functional coverage and prioritization
and mitigation of issues

- Work with the engineering team to ensure scalability and mitigate system
design issues..

Professional Qualifications:

- Successful candidate will have 4+ years hands on development
experience and a minimum of B S(MS preferred) in Computer Science or
equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in leading 5+ engineering groups
building mission critical, enterprise grade applications.
- Must be familiar with and have lead teams using an iterative
(phased) development approach.
- Strong technical skills in C++ design and development,
- Good knowledge of Web technologies, Java, C++, database
architectures and design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
