Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah said that the recent maneuvers carried out by the Islamic Resistance stressed the preparedness to defend Lebanon and its people against any aggression. Sayyed Nasrallah was speaking to Islamic Resistance fighters during the massive military exercises last week. "The recent maneuvers convey a clear message to the enemy which was carrying out military exercises since days," his eminence said. "The Islamic Resistance is ready to defend the country and is more determined, resolute and sure of the coming promised victory," he added. Sayyed Nasrallah told resistance fighters that the Lebanese are counting on them after God and expressed hope that their achievement would constitute a step on the road to protect and defend the land and the people. "I ask Almighty Allah to accept your deeds, agonies, and sleeplessness, to preserve you as the guardians of the land and the protectors of the people and our religion. I also ask Almighty Allah to make you the men who would clear the way for the Mahdi (Imam Mahdi) of this earth to establish divine justice."
