Sadam Hussein

Sorry if this a sensitive subject for some. But I just wanted to get some opinions about his execution and trial. Are we glad he is dead, did he have a fair trial? did he deserve to be executed...

the problem with our culture that we are emotional people (ex, get angry fast, or happy fast) we express our emotions more openly than the west. such as when egyptians praised Gamal Abdel Nasir even though he was torturing many. they see him in a position of power and ignore the negative things about him.

Did he do wrong?
Yes - but it isn?t as bad as the media makes it sound!
Addressing the crime which he was hanged for; the life of the head of state was threatened! What do you expect him to do? Have you heard of the emergency law of Egypt (Qanoon el tawaree2)? Try having someone from Detroit even think about touching the president, and watch and see what?s going to happen to all his friends and family in the entire city of Detroit (chemical weapons would probably not be used, but then again that?s why I answer yes to this question).

How do I feel about his execution?
I feel ashamed just like every single Arab should!
