hey guys..anyone knows the recipe for badaam kee jali...

BADAM-KI-JALI Recipe
Ingredients:

? 1 kilo almonds or cashewnuts;
? 1 kilo sugar;
? ? kilo powdered sugar;
? Silver warq.
? 1 tblsp. Ground cardamon seeds;
? 25 grams sliced pistachios, rose water.

Method:

1. Soak almonds whole night in water.
2. Next morning peel and grind them to a paste with rose water.
3. Put sugar, cardamoms and almonds together in a pan.
4. Cook, stirring all the time till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan.
5. Form the mixture into two balls.
6. Roll out each ball as thinly as you can dusting both the board and the rolling pin liberally with powdered sugar.
7. Stamp out small rounds with the help of a biscuit cutter.
8. Now take half of the rounds and make big holes in them.
9. Cover the remaining rounds on one side nicely with warq.
10. Put this over the round with holes.
11. Dust the top with powdered pistachios.

Grind badam with jali and freeze it for sometime..
your ..."badam ki jali" will be ready ;)
