Reccomendation in NYC
I am planning my brothers wedding in New York in July IA. I live in Californian and not familiar with NYC. I will be going to NY next month to check out potential places to host the reception and look for a house for my family to stay in during the wedding (hotels are inconvenient, esp for the elderly).
Can you guys recommend some places in the Queens area for:
1. Banquet halls (host about 100 people).
2. Vacation rentals or Long term stay homes? (have been looking online and will be touring a few places. I prefer a house so the family can be comfortable)
3. Hair and Make up artists that can make house calls? ( someone recommended Jackson Heights but I am sure they are so many of them to chose from)
4. Weddings supplies stores.
I really appreciate any information and recommendations. Its hard to plan from CA so I want to get as much info as possible before my trip.
