hey.. yes the info helps... but you know what.. in NJ we take the PRAXIS exams for teaching which i took and passed.. so if there is another state that also does PRAXIS exams.. i don't get why i would have to take the same exam twice... unless it was a different one then i understand....

I'm just thinking ahead because this one year course is gonna cost me like $22,000 and i don't see myself living in NJ forever.. so i don't know if its smart for me to take it here.. or what, ya know.. thanks for the help though!

Yes, if you live in NJ but if you moved to another state you will have to do something else meaning take another test that is for that other state's teacher certification. even if you've been teaching in another state for a certain amount of years, you will have to get the other state's teaching certificate if you do moved out from NJ to let's say Ohio...you have to get Ohio teacher certificate. the point is teaching certificate state-by-state.

as for teachers get a break on paying back their loans, this only happens when and if you do a "paid teaching internship between your university's teacher ed course program and the school district"...that means if you go through the internship getting paid for the hours you do student teaching and get your teaching certificate you are signing a contact agreement which means you have to work in that school district for 5 years as their newly certified cerdentialed teacher that this exchange of them paying you during your internship and you then teach for them. i hope this helps you out.
