Persian UCLA Student Tasered for not having ID
Salaam friends, brothers, and sisters,
A persian kid was recently hassled and tased by UCLA police after leaving the library. He apparently did not have his ID and was refused entry.

That's an aweful lot of action for one year's work on a college campus....
Nurses have to stick IVs in people to graduate. I think my nurse friends will find it hilarious when I tell them they can randomly start sticking IVs or IMs in people. You know, to get them to shut up and stuff.
We have patients who shout profanities at the staff all the time. I dont recall asking my nurse to jab him with a needle though.

"It is a real mistake to treat a Taser as some benign thing that painlessly brings people under control," said Peter Eliasberg, managing attorney at the ACLU of Southern California.
"The Taser can be incredibly violent and result in death," Eliasberg said.
According to an ACLU report, 148 people in the United States and Canada have died as a result of the use of Tasers since 1999.
During the altercation between Tabatabainejad and the officers, bystanders can be heard in the video repeatedly asking the officers to stop and requesting their names and identification numbers. The video showed one officer responding to a student by threatening that the student would "get Tased too." At this point, the officer was still holding a Taser.
Such a threat of the use of force by a law enforcement officer in response to a request for a badge number is an "illegal assault," Eliasberg said.
"It is absolutely illegal to threaten anyone who asks for a badge that's assault," he said.

Just because something is permissible doesn't mean it is just. It doesn't seem that they teach that to LA cops these days. Are you implying that policemen should be respected more than fathers? That's a very interesting take, I wonder what Jafar as-Siddiq would say about that..
Watch the video, no one can talk to or resist a cop like he did and expect not to get tazed or clubbed.
I'm sorry it happened but this was a police officer he was talking to not baba joon.
