Hailing from South Asia?s best known rock band, Junoon, Ahmad electrifies with solo material from his 2005 album, Infiniti. A rocker with a lot of heart, he gives an intimate concert at Asia Society with renown Indian musician Samir Chatterjee on tabla. The Pakistani artist, formerly of Vital Signs, uses the power of music to spread awareness about Sufi philosophy and social issues that concern him such as HIV in South Asia and peace between Pakistan and India.

(This project is supported in part by The New York State Music Fund, established by the New York State Attorney General at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. Major support for performances at the Asia Society is provided by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and the Helen and Will Little Endowment for Performing Arts. Additional support provided by New York State Council for the Arts.)
