Parents starved 7-yr-old to death

A girl of seven was starved to death by her mother and stepfather. Khyra Ishaq's emaciated body was underweight her condition was out of the expertise of medical professionals, it was claimed.
The girl was kept prisoner by her mother and stepfather.
Khyra would be made to strip off and stand outside if she tried to raid the larder.

The mother also denies cruelty charges relating to five other children in her care which her partner has admitted.

The couple accused of starving Khyra to death have admitted her manslaughter.

The girl and her siblings came to their neighbours' attention when they were seen eating the bread left outside for pigeons. This is the worst case of child neglect we heard of in the UK. That is so cruel.

Khyra, rest in peace.

The parents are living devils. The mother got a 15 years sentence. The stepfather, a former heavy cannabis user, got indefinite sentence.

It's been reported the parents would serve ONE small bowl of porridge that
their 5 children had to share amongst themselves.

As late Khyra was undernurished at school she was stealing her class mates' lunch boxes.

Social services officers didn't take seriously the neighbours' concerns about the 5 children seen on countless occasions eating stale and mouldy bread left outside to feed pigeons.

Besides that, social services officers didn't treat seriously revelations that the school headteacher made concerning several lunch boxes that late Khyra stole in the same year.

The final report points out that the social services officers missed those 2 opportunities. They were 2 indicators of child neglect.

What is damning it that although the 5 children were on the high risk register, social services let them down!!!

RIP little girl, and may the parents (if are not mentally disabled) burn in eternal hell.
