The delegation comprised representatives from Hamas, The Democratic Front, Sa'iqa, The Nidal Front, Islamic Jihad, Fatah al-Intifada, The Paestinian Liberation Front and Abbas Zaki, the representative of the executive committee of the PLO. Zaki reiterated after meeting with the head of the unconstitutional government Fouad Saniora the condemnation of all Palestinian factions to the "Fatah al-Islam phenomena" and urged Saniora to ease down the suffering of Palestinian refugees in the northern Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared.

"We have stressed on the joint cooperation between us and the Lebanese army and authority to deal with this phenomena in a way that eases down the sufferings of the Palestinians, especially in the Nahr al-Bared camp, in which a number of dead and injured people as still under fire and need to be evacuated,"
