Opera on the Mall
Here's an idea for a cultural activity this weekend.

Join us on the Mall this Sunday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m.!
Washington National Opera will present a special big-screen simulcast performance of Puccini's Madama Butterfly on the National Mall. WNO will transmit the performance of Butterfly live from the Kennedy Center stage to a huge 18' x 32' LED video screen located near the U.S. Capitol. No tickets are necessary!
The screen will be set up on the Mall between 4th and 7th Streets. Use Metro's Blue or Orange line and exit at the Federal Center SW, or the Yellow or Green line and exit at Archives-Navy Memorial stop.
Feel free to bring blankets, food, and beverages. No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are permitted on the Mall.
