There are rumors Keyshawn might end up in Seattle.

from a non-fantasy football perspective, Keyshawn is a solid possession receiver who still gets 70 receptions, 8-900 yds and 4-5 TDs, not to mention going over the middle and an excellent blocker during run support. A team like the Eagles or Chargers or Seahawks could really use him.

i dont think he will go to the Packers since they have no chance of winning anything outisde of a college bowl game.

Yeah, I would want him if needed. Lets say we cut Toomer, I'd definitely want him if we had room for a WR.

I disagree. I think Keyshawn did well last year. 4 TD's and 70 catches on that team was prety good. I know my brother drafted him as a 4th or 5th WR and he ended up being like a WR2 or even WR3. He was pretty productive.

holy sh*t you guys are still f*ckin talkin bout brady, get off his dick already. you guys are making him sound like the greatest thing to happen to the nfl, which he isnt. No doubt he's great, for sure hall of famer, one of best, but jeez talk bout something else how the panthers released keyshawn today and how the giants should look into meshawn as a possible target for eli..

This is what Peter King wrote in his MMQB column in SI,

"I find it hard to support Moss to the Patriots, regardless of how little they paid for him. And it's looking like they got the guy for an absolute song, though the exact money details haven't filtered out yet, except to say that ProFootballTalk.com has Moss getting either $3 million or $3.5 million in base salary in a one-year deal, down from the $9.25 million the Raiders owed him this year.
As we know, assuming there's not a signing bonus involved -- and ProFootballTalk.com says there is none -- the Patriots can basically have Moss on a five-month trial now, for free, because nothing he'll make is guaranteed until the first game of the season."

So, if that's true Brady didn't take any hit at all.

Also, he was drafted by the pats who were contending at the time and had late round picks as well. Bottom line, he's the greatest QB of our generation. Elway and Marino don't count. THey're last generation! :P

No. He wasn't thrown in. At the same time, he was drafted in round 6 backing up a franchise QB in his what 5th or 6th season as a starter (Bledsoe)? Beldsoe was a stud QB. Not like he was some chump. ANd yeah, if you found talent and value in a late round like that, why would you start him over Bledsoe? Lets not forget that he was also a back up at Michigan to Drew Henson NAD Brian Griese. So he had no exposure either.

TOK: I am in no shape or form doubting Brady's abilities. I was just stating one of the reasons why he's so successful. You tell me had he been a first overall pick like Eli Manning and started playing as soon as he was drafted, he wouldn't have struggled like Eli because the pressure of being a first round pick especially for the QBs to succeed is immense.

Ah well, I stand corrected on him not being system QB but there's no way the Pats would rule the Colts the way they used to and if I remember correctly the series where Caldwell dropped all those passes, the Pats did end up scoring a TD right after the drop.

Amir: who makes those big throws to put New England in position to make those kicks??? Ex. San Diego playoff game this past season. Did you see the throws he completed to those scrubs on his team??? If Reche Caldwell makes one of those catches, New England plays Chicago in the Super Bowl and Manning is still jinxed!

Brady is a system QB??? HAHAHAH!

Forget about Troy Brown. How about your RB was Antowain Smith who was spelled by Kevin Faulk. WTF kind of system would you call that? There were college teams those years I'm sure who had more talent to work with than Brady did. And everyone is a system QB. Its all about being in the right one that makes you excel. Ex. Drew Brees. Good QB in San Diego. GREAT QB in New Orleans. And put Peyton Manning on Atlanta, Oakland, or San Fransisco of the past few years. His numbers would not be good and he would not even be sniffing the playoffs. EVER. I hate it when people don't give Brady his due. I think all but maybe 5 NFL teams would cut their current QB's if they had a chance to sign Brady.

Look, I do not doubt Brady?s talents. I think he is a tremendous player. In fact, I had him as my QB in one of may fantasy teams and made it all the way to the championship game. All I was trying to say was, he is this successful partly because there were virtually no expectations on him because he a lower round pick and partly because of his playing abilities. All those people who say he had great talents in college seem to forget he got benched for Drew Henson in MI. It?s not like the Pats saw something the other 31 teams couldn?t see in him, they just got lucky with his pick.

My sincere apologies to all the fans of Tom Brady and the Patriots. Now lets all say this together, YANKEES SUCK.

and the last big game he needed to make a 'play'
to win the game, he did but for the colts by throwing an interception. Why do you think the Pats who are known not to be overspenders in free agency are signing free agents left and right. They are doing that becasuse they know the Colts are gonna kill them from now on. Brady as good as he is ain't no Manning and this next season will prove that to all you Brady lovers.

and if you haven't heard that Brady isn't a system QB before today, I suggest you start paying attention to the what's being written/said in the national media.

bro, i won't say anything abt any other team's "system" (whatever you wanna call it, or however you may define it), but here's how the patriots' "system" works:

1) Finding players who have potential (yes even the pats do not practise alchemy!)

2) Providing players with proper coaching, training, game preparation, working on plays/schemes, etc...

3) And most importantly: the PLAYERS persevering + making the plays THEY need to make to win games ON THE FIELD, aka 'making the "system" work'!!

So, for any further questions abt Brady please come back and look at the above points, especially #3... thank you!

but then again...Elway never won it all until he was surrounded by alot of talented players. It's really hard to isolate players and determine how good they are in football because it is such a team sport.
